8. Supporting the emotional and social development of children
Classroom teachers and support teachers, along with the SENDCo, are continually observing the effectiveness of SEN provision and adapting as appropriate. Whole school assessment is strategically placed throughout the year to encourage accelerated learning through Pixl and Read Write Inc phonic checks. The Senior Leadership Team provide regular year group/phase scrutiny sessions and RA Meetings to ensure that individual and small groups of children are making expected progress.
