We understand and believe in the need for each and every child to feel emotionally safe and confident to participate actively in their learning. We have a full-time Welfare and Family Officer at North Primary School. With her guidance, we teach strategies to help child’s social and emotional develop through:

• Zones of Regulation

• PSHE lessons/circle time

• Year group assemblies/values and certificate assemblies

• Social skill interventions

• Learning mentor sessions

• Playground buddies

• Family support

 

Due to Covid-19 sessions are run within the year group by the support teacher.
